The dictionary strikes again

There I was, minding my own business, looking up a word a coworker had asked about when I discovered something. The word my 1st grade teacher used to describe my penchant for interrupting people is in the dictionary. (Somebody make me stop with the links already.)

Anyhoo, the word came into being in 1902, which is about the time my 1st grade teacher came into being. (Did I type that 'out loud'?)

By the way, if in the 'right' mood I can still be brought to tears when telling this story. (I was six. There are better ways to get a child to stop talking than to call her names... even if the name is apt.)
