A guy named "Shadow" did the install of WordPress. It's magic. We don't know how he did it. This could cause problems in the future, but we were stuck. And I was anxious.
Here is a screen shot of my little blog. It will be fancified and unleashed on the blogosphere in the upcoming weeks.
Isn't it cute in its unfancified, hot-off-the-WordPress state?
Thank you to my dear husband for all his work. And thank you to the mysterious "Shadow," one of the people who does WordPress installs for free when we common folk can't figure how how to do it ourselves.

Keera Ann, yes only the Shadow knew... (but Ed did figure out where he went wrong after he saw the correct installation). And I would never hit you. :)
Jamie, WordPress offers the free install only for brand-new Wordpressians. :( I'm sorry you're having trouble. I feel your pain.
