At work, I just got an e-mail from a person whose company I recognize. (We work in related fields.) The person's name is not familiar.
This is what the e-mail said:
"Your last name looks familiar to me, are you Macedonian?"
I've never been asked that before.
(And no, I'm not from Macedonia.)
